Sparkle Cat Rescue needs donations to help homeless kittens!
A kitten fund called Blossom's Kitten Fundhas been set up to help raise money for homeless kittens needing to be rescued in our community. We can't rescue without funds to help cover their vet care! We are also searching to add to our team of fosters.
The kitten fund is named in memory of Blossom who passed away in June 2017. She was very sick when she was brought to us and weighed under a pound. Despite our best efforts and multiple trips to our partner vet and emergency clinic, she passed away days after rescue.
Please donate if you can! No amount is too small! Your donation will help us save lives!

The Kitten Fund has been set up in memory of Blossom: She was brought to Sparkle Cat Rescue at one of our adoption fairs on June 17, 2017. She had been found near Caswell county, NC, and was in very poor shape and severely dehydrated. We immediately rushed her to the vet where they found a maggot infestation in her rectum. She also had a horrible infestation of ear mites. For 7 days she fought for her life and took a turn for the worse on Saturday, June 24 she was rushed to the emergency clinic in Burlington. Within an hour of bringing her home, she passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, June 25, 2017. During her short time with Sparkle Cat Rescue, she was loved very much and our hearts were broken when she passed away. She had a few days where she was doing so well but her tiny and frail body just gave out in the end.
In Blossom's memory, we hope this fund can help to ensure Sparkle Cat Rescue is able to rescue homeless kittens and that we won't have to hesitate to take in very sick/injured/orphaned kittens. We want her memory to live on and help other kittens in our community.
