Please donate to help with Harmony's future medical expenses. We will be making an appointment to take her to our vet for further assessment and to get an estimate for future medical care, including a biopsy to determine if the lesion on her nose is squamous cell carcinoma.
Harmony was posted on Facebook over the weekend of January 9, 2016, with a plea for help after church members had seen her hanging out at the church for 2 weeks. She is very malnourished but did put on a little weight in just one day.
Please donate. No amount is too small. Should her medical care expenses be lower than the amount donated, all money will be moved to the general fund to help other Sparkle kitties.
January 11, 2016-Update on Harmony
"She is FeLk/FIV neg, has spay scar, not a real young cat. Probably been outside a long time. Nose lesion most likely squamous cell carcinoma which is caused by sun and cold exposure. Ear tips involved as well. Has gained weight. Yesterday 5lbs 4 oz, today 5 lbs 10 oz. Eating well.
If this is squamous cell carcinoma, it will spread and invade locally. You may want to get a biopsy for definitive diagnosis.
