Lyra
Rescued as a kitten in the summer of 2018, Lyra is a quiet, shy, sweet girl . She has not socialized well since her rescue and is very skittish. She was in another foster home until all 2021, and then we had to move her and her brother Nash. It took them both about 6 months to acclimate to their new surroundings and feel comfortable with people. They both are content hanging out in one room and are good with other kitties. We would be open to adoption for her but at this point it appears she's going to be a 'forever foster'.

Mallory
Rescued in March 2020 in Asheboro, NC (a colony of 50+ cats - we helped around 30 of those cats. Mallory is very shy and has become very comfortable living in foster care. She's extremely shy and never had any adoption interest. She is happy to be able to live out her life with Sparkle Cat Rescue after such a rough start in life. The conditions she came from were very stressful and many of the cats rescued there have had a hard time socializing.

Rocco
Rocco is content living his life at the office it seems. He’s come such a long way since he came to us a in April 2022. He hid and was very shy and moody for a year and a half. He has had several homes during his life and bonded with his former foster before he got adopted for the second time. he was with a different organization then. His last adopter mama passed away unexpectedly and he came to us since his mama was a huge supporter of ours. We know she’s smiling down on Rocco and how brave he’s being these days.
We actually do receive a monthly donation of $100.00 to help with Rocco's expenses (from his grandma).
