Saturday, March 5, 2016 SNICKERS was adopted today and found the purrfect home! Her new humans already are so in love with her! Snickers was rescued in January from Kenyon's Meat Market in Mebane, NC after the woods and her siblings took shelter in were being torn down to make room for apartments. All of the kitties were being well fed and taken care of but with no safe haven they all needed rescue. Snickers, her five siblings and pregnant mama were rescued - mama went to Juliet's House in Whitsett, NC where she gave birth to five kitties in her foster home in February.
Thursday, March 3, 2016 "The successful trapping in Haw River resulted in 8 females (11 kittens between them) and 3 males. One female appeared to have had a miscarriage and was bleeding from her bottom. Poor baby. I still have her and planning on releasing her tomorrow morning if she's eating well. I set up a double door Tomahawk (the best) and transfer cage end to end. She has plenty of room and is resting comfortably" ~Christina Lippard, Sparkle Cat Volunteer and Master Trapper.
Thanks go to Planned Pethood in Greensboro, NC for spaying and neutering these kitties, and thanks to our partner, AnimalKind for sponsoring their TNR through a generous donation by an animal lover to help Alamance County, NC.
